“It was a daunting process choosing a photographer for my wedding, as it was very important to find someone who ‘gels’ with the wedding party and who you can trust will do a great job. When we discussed our wedding with Jess, we knew she’d be perfect to capture our special day. She not only came with photographic skills, but Jess could also do make up. Again, it was important to find a make up artist who listened to what we wanted and was easy to work with. Jess did a wonderful job of creating the look my bridal party was after – they looked stunning!

Weather was NOT in our favour on the day as we were struck with a mini tornado towards the end of the ceremony which things turned pretty chaotic! Most photographers wouldn’t have handled the situation as well as Jess, because it was certainly challenging for all of us! Thankfully Jess did an outstanding job of capturing the ceremony, so we ended up having an album that captured the spontaneity of the event in a documentary style, rather than lots of posed photos.

The end result is something I wouldn’t change for the world – mini tornado and all! Jess did a superb job under pressure and the end result was magic.

I don’t do traditional wedding photography. I tell stories, with pictures.

I find a way to capture images that reflect your wedding day. I shoot the traditional stuff as I go – instead of interrupting, posing you and repeating things. Every now and again I will suggest a few creative ideas but otherwise I let the day naturally take it’s course. This helps you and everyone else feel at ease.

I will tell the story of YOUR wedding day. I don’t take the same shots week in, week out – how could I?

I will start shooting when you start getting ready and shoot everything as it happens. If you need me to shoot the whole day, well, I can do that too. I plan my day around you.

Choose the best photos you want to keep. These will get professional retouched and popped on a disc for you to keep and do as you please. I don’t charge extra for printing. They are your photos so I feel you should have access to everything as many times as you want without paying extra. I don’t make albums but can offer many professional recommendations at affordable prices.
